Misschien wordt het stilvallen van het (strand)toerisme ooit wel de aanleiding om vragen te gaan stellen over plastic?
De stranden (en zeeën) raken overal ter wereld gevuld met plastic.
Tot nu toe lijkt er zich nog niemand aan te storen...
maar die dag moet toch ooit komen ?
Hieronder het strand van Mindelo op Kaap Verdië waar jaarlijks duizenden jachten halt houden op weg naar de Caraïben.
En wat ze daar aantreffen is dit: zowat de enige vorm van westerse luxe die Kaap Verdië heeft bereikt: de plastieken verpakking...

For: who wants to lie on a beach filled with plastic debris ?
How far off is that day ?
It looks to me that 'the' tourist is either blind, or very adaptable:
Here is a pic of Cape Verdes main yacht 'harbour', Mindelo.
Thousands of yachts stop over here every year on their way to the Caribbean.
Did you here one of them complain ?
The Cape Verdes are a rather poor archipellago of the African Coast, and about the only western luxury known here is the plastic wrapping: from bags to bottles, they are all over the islands, the beaches...
